Split antlers are perfect for puppies, older dogs or dogs who enjoy the marrow on the inside of the antler. The outer shell of the antler is hard with an internal honeycomb affect marrow on the inside. The inside of the antler is softer in texture making it easier for your dog to chew.
The highland antlers are collected from Red Deer, all of which are naturally shed antler stock. The antler is shed between February and March, where it is then gathered by hand.
Each antler has been cleaned (with no chemicals) and cut into various sizes/weights for dogs to chew on. All sharp points have been removed to make them safe.
Antler is a healthy chew full of minerals and calcium. They are long lasting and great to settle your dog’s natural urge to chew – this will help to strengthen and clean their teeth.
As they are unprocessed, they should not splinter but always supervise your dog when they are chewing. Please provide plenty of fresh water along with the chew.
